Assalamu-alikum,

Sandwip, an island , is situated in the district of Chittagong. Very often it is termed as a sea-daughter by the people as it is in the lap of the Bay-of -Bengal The people of coastal area are always faced with natural disaster and this  seems to be the fate of people. Still people of this island are advancing forward by waging endless war against all sorts of odds of Nature. Clear proof of this is that there are more than one hundred government and non-government educational institutions here.

          The former establishment of one hundred years –old Bashiria Ahmadia Al-haj Abu Bakar Siddique Fazil Madrasah had submerged into the sea in 1995.  This madrasah has been reconstructed in Rahmatpur and it  is adjacent to the Upazilla Sadar of Sandwip. The madrasah is now being run on the basis of patronaze from both the  government and non-government sector as well as sincere co-operation of the religious- minded people. In spite of  shortage of necessary infrastructure, this educational institution is advancing forward with its name and fame by  all-out support of the people concerned.The fame of this madrasah is being increased day by day due to its good result in Public Examinations, student’s getting scholarship based on merit and most recently getting award from SEQAEP.                                                                                                        

          The pre-condition of a nation being civilized is that its people are well-educated. Involving in all spheres of knowledge leads a nation to the peak of civilization. With ensuring modern standard education , especially the knowledge of  information technology to the learners, care must be taken to enhance patriotic zeal through moulding moral character, increasing accountability to the society as well as to the nation.

           Education policy,  dream of building a digitalized Bangladesh, inclusion of Information Technology as an  academic -subject-----all are steps towards building a country free from hunger, discrimination, deprivation, malnutrition and above all building a prosperous country based on technology. Present government is certainly worthy of getting credit in this regard. May the government be successful; may the nation be well-educated; may the country go ahead.
